Aerowing Represents the Next Step in Aerofoil Design (release) NysanŽ, a division of Hunter Douglas Contract, the industry leader in solar control solutions, announces a new design in exterior solar control, the Aerowing sun louver. By reducing heat gain and glare, increasing energy savings, and enhancing natural lighting, the new Aerowing provides enhanced external solar control and expanded design options for the architect and designer. "Hunter Douglas Contract's extruding expertise allows for a much lighter, stronger sun louver, and one that has not previously been available," said Jason Warnock, Marketing Director of Hunter Douglas' Nysan solar shading division. "Aerowing is the next step in aerofoil design, and we are proud to offer it to the North American market." The Aerowing adds a new dimension to the Hunter Douglas Contract range of innovative external solar control solutions. The Aerowing is available in three profiles: Aerowing 200 (200 mm, 8"), Aerowing 300 (300 mm, 12"), and Aerowing 400 (400 mm; 16"). Aerowing is available in a complete range of aluminum, painted and custom finishes. Aerowing will be available in February 2006. Please visit the Nysan booth (#511) at the Greenbuild Expo to view a hand model of the Aerowing. A diagram of the Aerowing is included on the reverse.
