Integrated Solutions Complement Techstyle® Acoustical Ceilings from Hunter Douglas Contract

- System Organizes HVAC and Lighting to Enhance Monolithic Look of Techstyle Panels -

Thornton, CO (May 15, 2008) – Hunter Douglas Contract Ceilings introduces its new Integrated Solutions system for Techstyle Acoustical Ceilings. This new system organizes the ceiling, placing light fixtures and diffusers into neat, six-inch strips that fit between the large panels and flush with the ceiling plane. The end result: a crisp look that enhances the clean aesthetic that Techstyle Classic panels help create.

"The Integrated Solutions System makes the appearance even more dramatic by organizing the distracting elements of the ceiling into clean strips, allowing the true beauty of the panels to shine through."

Engineered for easy installation, Integrated Solutions offers a wide range of fixture spacings and panel sizes to accommodate a variety of configurations. The system also makes access to the plenum convenient because of Techstyle Classic panels swing-down panel, a standard feature of the ceiling. Partnerships with leading fixture manufacturers make integration even easier.

Techstyle Classic Series panels achieve a clean look by concealing a standard 15/16" tee grid with a nominal ¼" reveal between the panels and fixtures. With a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of 0.85, Techstyle ceilings also improve the acoustical qualities of the space. The panels are available in white, off-white, and black. VOC-free composition of the panels ensures they help preserve indoor air quality. The specification of Techstyle Acoustical Ceilings may contribute to overall LEED ratings.
