Two-tone Fabric Controls Light and Heat
13 May, 2011
NEW ORLEANS, LA (May 2011)—GreenScreen® DuoTone, a two-tone roller shade fabric by Hunter Douglas Contract offers architects greater flexibility to control light and heat by using a dark color on the interior and light on the exterior. The fabric will be on display at AIA, May 12-14th in booth #1641.
Available in four-color options, DuoTone uses a light color on the exterior to reflect heat and a dark color on the interior to preserve outward visibility. Additionally, the fabric with its dark-colored interior side is a good solution for boardrooms using projectors and presentation equipment.
"GreenScreen DuoTone is the latest in a line of environmentally responsible, PVC-free fabrics," said Paris Waddill, Director of Marketing, Nysan Solar Control. "The fabric has outstanding solar properties to control glare and manage thermal heat gain."
GreenScreen® DuoTone is made with Polyester yarn (92%) and Polyurethane Finish (8%).
